During this first week of Lent, the goal is to grow. God is calling you to grow up in your faith, to learn to interact with God on a daily basis. God is calling you to follow His Spirit. This can only happen if you pay attention to where He is going.

As the focus remains on the fruit of the Spirit, notice that those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Crucifixion is an intentional act. No one who was ever crucified went through that experience by accident.
