When will on-campus Worship Services RESUME?
On-campus worship services resume, with one service only, Sunday, June 7th at 11:00am on both the Owasso and Calvary campuses. Online services continue at 11:00am at live.fbcowasso.org and are available on most social media sites.
Sunday Night Worship will resume at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Owasso Campus. This service will be led by Paul Purifoy and will be different from the morning service.
GROUPS will continue online only at 9:00am. For more information visit https://fbcowasso.org/everywhere.
Will SEATING be limited?
YES. To create a safe, clean environment and to encourage social distancing, more than half of the seats have been removed from both the Owasso and Calvary campus worship centers. Approximately 340 seats are available in Owasso and 110 seats at Calvary. For Sunday Night Worship, approximately 125 seats are available in the Fellowship Hall of the Owasso Campus.
Do I have to REGISTER to attend the Worship Service?
YES. Raise your hand! Because seating is limited you must register to attend.
Will participants be required to go through a TEMPERATURE or HEALTH SCREENING?
NO. If you or anyone in your household has been sick, symptomatic, or had a fever in the last 14 days, or if you are in the at-risk category, we ask you to be considerate of others and worship with us online from home – https://live.fbcowasso.org.
Will FACEMASKS be required?
NO. When not on the stage, the staff and volunteers of First Baptist Owasso will wear masks. For participants, masks are optional. We hope you will do what’s best and safest for you and that you will be thoughtful and considerate of others.
Do I need to ENTER through a specific DOOR?
YES. Because this is a worship service only, doors to the Education Center and other parts of the building will be locked. At Owasso, please enter through the south, center doors (under the portico) or north doors of the Worship Center Building. At Calvary, please enter through the west portico or north glass doors.
Will church-provided TRANSPORTATION be available?
NO. Transportation to and from the Baptist Retirement Village, for children and students on Calvary busses, and parking lot shuttles will not be available.
Can I give a HANDSHAKE, HUG, high five, (or holy kiss 😉 )
NOT RECOMMENDED. The staff and volunteers of First Baptist Owasso will not initiate any kind of physical contact with others. We encourage everyone to use caution, to be considerate of one another, and only initiate this kind of contact after receiving verbal consent.
