At First Baptist Owasso we encourage every adult to connect to a Bible Study Group as soon as possible. Our Bible Study Groups exist to provide an opportunity to build significant relationships that can last a lifetime.
Connected in Community
Though we’ve been conditioned to seek quick fixes or easy steps, real life is harder than that. Spiritual development has been defined as “a long obedience in the same direction.” Our Bible Study Groups assist you in your walk with life-impacting Bible Study, practical teaching and helpful tools to ensure that your journey with Christ is all that it can be.
We believe church is a place where no one stands alone…let us help you connect to a group today! CLICK HERE for a list of Bible Study Groups on the Calvary Campus.

Preschool – Birth through Pre-K
lil’ kids inc.
Welcome to lil’ kids inc. the Preschool Ministry of First Baptist, where your children will hear about the love of Jesus and participate in activities appropriate to their age and stage of development. From the smallest infant to the five-year-old waiting another year to go to kindergarten— they will hear spiritual truth that will help build a Biblical foundation for their lives.
Training for volunteers and paid staff is an ongoing process. We believe security is important and use a duplicate tag system to help ensure that only the designated person picks up your child. Volunteers over 18 years of age complete background checks.
Partnering with parents is key. Along with small groups adult classes on Sunday morning, the preschool ministry provides a parent equipping ministry. This ministry celebrates the milestone of Family Dedication in your little one’s life and offers Lessons Learned Along the Way, an open-panel forum and dinner. This class involves our pastor and his wife, Chris and Robin Wall, as well as other key leaders in our church.
lil’ kids inc. Newsletter
Ten times a year the Preschool ministries produce a newsletter. This is a fun and informative way to discover upcoming events for your child. You’ll also find parenting articles, fun activities to do as a family, recipes, book reviews, new birth announcements, King’s Kids news, and much more. If you don’t currently receive lil’ kids inc. news email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Children’s Ministry provides age-appropriate Bible studies, dynamic worship, as well as other fun and educational events that help elementary-age children discover who they are in Christ and the purpose He has for them.
The Bible says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example to the Believers in word, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” Children in the 4th and 5th grade are challenged to discover what it means to be servant-leaders as they grow their faith in Christ and begin to discover how to help others do the same. This all happens thru relevant Bible study, powerful worship, exciting activities, and incredible opportunities to serve others. They will learn to know, love and follow Christ with all their heart in a fun, safe, high-energy, environment.
Exciting, age-appropriate, Bible-centered activities for children grades 1 thru 6 take place Sunday nights from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Calvary Kids is a fun time with friends as children learn to live the principles they uncover in God’s Word.
