God has entrusted every Believer with the message of His gospel, the good news that forgiveness is available through His son, Jesus Christ. At First Baptist Owasso our desire is to spread this message of salvation across the street and around the world.

Angel Food Ministries

Once a month you can be blessed with fresh meats, fresh or frozen fruits & vegetables, and staple items at the extremely low price of $30! For $30 you get $75 worth of food! This is not “day-old” or “outdated” food. Best of all, there are No Applications, No Qualifications and No Limits on the quantity purchased.

This ministry is available for everyone. It’s an opportunity to stretch your food dollar and for you to provide quality food to the under resourced of our community. Purchase some for yourself and consider an additional purchase for someone in need.

FAITH

FAITH Sunday School Evangelism is our method of teaching Believers how to share the gospel. With FAITH you don’t just learn how to share the gospel you actually do it. Members of First Baptist with various skills and backgrounds get together every Monday night during the school year to help each other learn how to share the gospel then we visit the people of our community in order to share the love of Christ with them. We would love for you to join us!

The Fall semester of FAITH is August 24th - Nov. 30th, on Monday nights, 5:30 – 9:00pm. Dinner is offered for $3.50 and childcare is available upon request.

Missions

Across the street or around the world the people of First Baptist Owasso are on mission. FBCO's vision includes seeing its entire membership involved in mission activities at home and abroad through education, awareness efforts, mission support and mission participation.  Upcoming mission trips include the following:

• Venezuela - June 13th - 21st, 2008 (approximate cost $1800)
• Cambodia/Thailand - December 2008 (approximate cost $2300)
• Leon, Mexico - January 2009

John 3:16 Mission

On the 4th Friday night of every month, we go to the John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa to serve food to the hungry and homeless.  We meet at the Mission to serve from 5:45pm to 7:30pm.  This is for all adults 18 and older who are interested in serving others.  Teenagers 15-17 may go if accompanied by a parent.  In you are interested in helping, call the church office to sign up as a volunteer.
