Connecting people who have things with people who need things.
Mission Owasso is a ministry to under resourced people in need. We provide services for people within our church and community. This ministry is based on God’s provision promise in Philippians 4:19,

Car Care Ministry
Quarterly the Men’s Ministry hosts a Saturday Car Clinic featuring minor repairs, oil changes and preventative maintenance targeted for Senior Adults, single parents and those widowed.
This ministry is geared toward senior adults in our community. We assist seniors by providing monthly groceries to anyone 55 and older that may need some assistance with food at the end of each month. We have teams that sack and deliver these groceries along with reading material, daily essentials and they provide companionship to our seniors. This ministry is currently delivering food to over 80 seniors in our community. Donations include: canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc), soups of all kinds, pasta meals, pasta and rice side dishes, microwave meals, helper meals (hamburger, chicken and tuna), cereal, oatmeal packets, macaroni and cheese, Ramen noodles, peanut butter and jelly, graham crackers, saltines, cookies, snack items (pudding, Jello, raisins) and fruit juices. These items should be in sizes for a single adult or couples. Donations may be dropped off at the church or the Mission.
This ministry provides items that are needed to care for children to age 10. These items include diapers in all sizes, formula (most requested Carnation Good Start), wipes, baby cereal, baby food, seasonal clothing in size birth to 10-12, shoes in good condition, cribs, strollers, pack and play, bouncy seats, blankets, crib sheets, baby bottles, baby shampoo, baby lotion, any baby item. Donations may be dropped off at the church or the Mission.
This is for anyone in the community that could use extra groceries to help them through the week. No application, no requirements, this is done every Wednesday, no exceptions. We receive fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, cakes, pies, dairy products and canned items. We open our doors at 9 am.
This ministry provides personal hygiene items that cannot be purchased with Food Stamps. These are items that we use daily and take for granted such as toilet paper (most requested item), toothbrushes, toothpaste, men and women deodorant, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, dish soap, laundry soap, disinfectants, feminine products, adult disposable briefs. These items may be donated by dropping off at the church or the Mission.
This ministry picks up donations of furniture and delivers furniture to those in need. Donated items must be gently used or new items without stains, tears or odors and in good condition. Items we do not accept are any gas appliances, sleeper sofas, extra large items, musical instruments, computers, wall decorations, and outdoor furniture. This ministry delivers each Saturday and needs volunteers that are available once every other month to help.
