How does First Baptist find its talent and music resources?
As a church we believe that every member is a minister and that doing ministry is an expression of each Believers P.L.A.C.E. This gives us the opportunity to use the many gifts and talents of the members of our congregation. Although we sometimes employ guest musicians, we make a conscious effort to use and develop the talents of the people in our church. The more we know about the people of our church the better we can identify their gifts. Those who are gifted with abilities relating to our ministry become tremendous resources that God uses within the Christian Arts Ministry. We also find that offering various levels of commitment within our ministry enables more people to become involved.
