Fresh Fish

While Jesus was teaching thousands of people the Disciples approached him and said, "Jesus, these people are hungry. We need to quit for the day, send them home and let them get something to eat."

Jesus response was remarkable. He turned to his volunteers and said, "You give them something to eat."

It may sound unlikely. It may look impossible. But every week Jesus says the same thing to you. Within the walls of our church there are opportunities to serve and minister to the needs of others. Throughout our community there are individuals and families hungry for the Word of God, waiting for someone to show them how to become a fully devoted follower of Christ.

You have been given the words of life - now Jesus says to you, "You give them something to eat."

What a great way to celebrate as the family of God. The hands and feet and smiles that volunteered for this event were fantastic, the service was awesome and the message hit home. Meeting the needs of those in my day are serving with His hands, His feet, His heart, His mind. He has taught me how to serve thorough other's who know Christ and are living a servants life. Why do I serve, because He first served! It really is not an option for me. He has taken up dwelling in me. To not serve is to not be all I have been created to be. The impossible, honkin [thats real big in Texan
] big thing that comes across my path, He has made a way so that His Father will get the glory. I need to trust that He has the fish and bread on the way. Chad, Pastor Roger, drama team and all I love ya and thank you so much for giving all for Christ. Your sister in the Lord, Tommie
