The Family Action Pack

The Family Action Pack contains the following items to help parents be the spiritual leaders of their children:

(…when you sit) 
Special Time (family devotion) booklet—This will contain one family-fun, action-packed, easy-to-lead devotion for each week in September through November.

 (…when you walk)
 We will be releasing the next Travel Talk CD in late October/Early November to be used any time in the car or while traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday. It will have a strong theme of giving thanks and is tentatively being called “Thankful-mess.”

 (…when you lie down)
 A Bedtime Story booklet—We will also be encouraging the families to say The Lord’s Prayer before praying together as a family as a part of their pattern of putting the kids to bed.

 (…when you get up)
 Breakfast Bites—These are simple questions with which to start the day at breakfast that tie back into what your kids are learning both at home and at church. We also want to encourage you to pray over your children every morning that they will be fully devoted followers of Christ.

NOTE: The themes taught in each of these items ties directly to what the children are learning at church. Our desire is to tie together what is taught at home with what is taught at church on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings—To create a cord of discipleship that consists of three strands: Home, Sunday morning, and Wednesday evening. “…for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 3:12). Our commitment is to do everything possible to help our parents raise fully devoted followers of Christ.
