Dear FBC Family,
I read with great joy where Owasso, First Baptist Church is now DEBT FREE! What a great victory! No doubt you are filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the work of the Lord through your people in eradicating the debt. You enter 2012 free at last!
Such a victory required sensitivity to the Spirit, obedience, and generosity on the part of the church family. Together you have accomplished a great thing, which brings glory and honor to our Lord.
I can think of few things that position you more favorably to begin a new journey with a new pastor. For a pastor to come to such great facilities and know he can concentrate on ministry rather than debt gives him and you a tremendous advantage. He can lead you to invest in reaching the greater Owasso area with the Gospel and to extend your mission to Oklahoma, the nation, and world.
Isn’t it amazing what you can do together! United in heart and spirit, God has and will continue to use your great church to make an eternal difference. I continue to pray for your search committee as they seek God’s man. I am convinced your greatest days are ahead!
